There’s so much to see and do in our region, Dumfries & Galloway, in South West Scotland. We’re on a beautiful stretch of coastline, and just a short drive from the Artists’ Town of Kirkcudbright.

Borgue village is nearby and has a great pub with a very warm welcome and delicious food. The towns of Gatehouse-of-Fleet, Kirkcudbright & Castle Douglas are nearby and well worth a visit.

Kirkcudbright, the Artists’ Town, is a pretty and vibrant harbour town with events, exhibitions, and activities on all year round. There are wonderful Galleries to visit, and many have exhibitions on throughout the year.

Summer Festivities and events throughout the year

Kirkcudbright is central to the region and has a great community who organise many wonderful events and activities for you to enjoy. The Summer Festivities programme gets into full swing in July and August, with weekly events building up to the spectacular Floodlit Tattoo and Firework Display held on the last weekend of August.
